Bankruptcy and Debtor/Creditor Rights
The Bankruptcy/Creditors Rights Department, led by Lee Klinger, CPA provides a full range of services both to the financially troubled business entities and their creditors. The Department also represents secured and unsecured creditors, lenders, investors in connection with local and national bankruptcy cases, workouts, and debt restructuring. The Department is often retained as accountants to creditors’ committees and debtors-in-possession. Regardless of the nature of the representation, all clients benefit from the pragmatic and cost effective resolution of complex business issues in the most direct and expeditious manner available to them.
We have represented creditors’ committees in both large and small Chapter eleven cases. The long history of our practice in bankruptcy and insolvency cases both on the debtor and the creditor sides and the nature of our involvement in several multi-national cases brings real advantage to those creditors’ committee clients. Our ability to quickly identify off-balance sheet assets is only one example of that advantage.
We have worked with clients in a broad array of industries and with companies ranging from small closely-held business to large publicly owned corporations. Once retained we apply a thoroughness which is the result of our years of experience in the field.
